11th Grade Science
Students explore advanced topics in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and more. They will further develop their skills as writers of scientific research to contribute to their learning of course material and understand the responsibilities of a scientist.
Learn and practice cursive handwriting. Worksheets for practicing will be available for download, or can just use pen and paper. Students will learn proper strokes, form, slant, and spacing, and develop functional speed and visual memory of cursive.
American Sign Language (ASL)
Students will focus on mastering the basics of fingerspelling, numbers, colors, facial grammar, sentence structure; students will also learn conversational/cultural behaviors necessary to hold a conversation in ASL, with native users of the language
Students take on the role of a doctor-in-training as they learn about the human body, what doctors do and how they arrive at a diagnosis, medical imaging, blood test analysis, health and wellness, and broader healthcare issues. Middle School and up.
